What we do
Most boards handle a telecom agreement once or twice. We do it every day.
Colabry manages the full process—from understanding what is in place, or establishing the right starting point when there is no agreement, to negotiating the final terms—while keeping the board in control of the decision.
Discovery & review
Understand your starting point.
We establish the community’s baseline whether an agreement exists or not, then review current bills, service details, infrastructure, and future needs before any provider controls the conversation.
Typical scope
- Existing contract terms—or confirmation that no agreement is in place
- Current services, penetration, equipment, and pricing
- Infrastructure ownership and upgrade obligations
- Resident, property, and board priorities
Provider engagement
Go to market with purpose.
We identify qualified providers, prepare a customized RFP, set expectations, and manage provider communication. The board does not have to field competing pitches before there is something worth evaluating.
Typical scope
- Provider landscape and qualification
- Custom RFP design and distribution
- Questions, deadlines, and proposal coordination
- Provider presentations and supporting materials
Proposal evaluation
Make every proposal comparable.
Provider offers rarely arrive in the same format. We standardize the details and analyze the complete financial and operational picture so hidden assumptions cannot masquerade as value.
Typical scope
- Bulk, retail, exclusive marketing, and access models
- Pricing, escalation, equipment, and resident impact
- Infrastructure, service levels, courtesy accounts, and incentives
- Association and resident savings analysis
Negotiation & selection
Negotiate from a position of strength.
We lead negotiations to improve economics, service commitments, and long-term protections—then present the board with a clear recommendation and the evidence behind it.
Typical scope
- Pricing and escalation improvements
- Construction, launch, and upgrade commitments
- Service-level agreements, response times, and remedies
- Final commercial terms and board decision support
What your board receives
A decision package—not another sales presentation.
The output is built for responsible governance: easy to review, grounded in evidence, and specific to the community.
Starting-point review
A concise summary of the existing agreement—or current position if no agreement is in place—plus timing, economics, service model, and leverage points.
Provider comparison
A normalized, apples-to-apples view of pricing, equipment, infrastructure, incentives, and contract terms.
Financial analysis
Transparent calculations showing the potential association and resident impact across the full contract term.
Negotiated recommendation
A clear path forward, documented tradeoffs, and final terms ready for board consideration.
Aligned compensation
No retainers. No upfront advisory fees.
The selected provider compensates Colabry directly in most engagements. If it does not and the association receives a door fee, Colabry receives 20% and the association keeps 80%.
Compensation follows a beneficial outcome.
The fee path is clear before the work begins.
The community’s priorities drive the analysis and recommendation.
